Our earthing process

Site inspection, requirement assessment, solution planning, material selection, professional installation, resistance testing, and recorded results with improvement guidance.

  1. Site inspection

We visit the site and look at the building or plant, the main equipment, available space and any existing earthing and its condition.

You provide: access to the site and any drawings or earlier test records.

  2. Requirement assessment

We work out what the installation needs, including the type of equipment, the loads and any standards or utility requirements that apply.

You receive: a clear explanation of what we found and what is needed.

  3. Solution planning

We plan the electrode layout, conductor routes, connection points and test points, taking account of the site layout and ground conditions.

You receive: a proposed scope of work.

  4. Material selection

We choose suitable electrodes, conductors and joints for the application and the environment, and explain the options.

You receive: a materials recommendation for approval.

  5. Professional installation

Our technicians carry out the work with suitable PPE, careful connections and tidy site practice. Test points are included so future testing is easy.

  6. Resistance testing

We measure earth resistance using suitable test equipment and an appropriate method for the site, and inspect the finished connections.

  7. Recorded results and improvement guidance

Readings are written down with their locations, dates and conditions. Where readings or findings call for it, we explain practical options for improvement.

You receive: recorded test results and guidance on any next steps.

Already have earthing installed?

You do not need a new installation to use our process. We can start at resistance testing or at a site inspection, then record the results and advise on improvements.
